How to Resume Your Download After 1 Download Failed Error


On Windows: Windows Attachment Manager could have removed the file you tried to download. To see what files you can download or why your file was blocked, check your Windows internet security settings.

I'm trying to migrate a Cisco Firepower FTD 1010 from FTD to ASA. I have downloaded the asa image (cisco-asa-fp1k.9.14.2.15.SPA ) when I try to upload it to the FTD, I will get a failed message when I check the show download-task details.

Ok, so I figured it out before TAC got back to me. I was able to perform the download via usb drive. Here's where the story gets interesting. I had to login to the FTD local management. from there, I did a dir, and I could see and view the usbdrive: From the previous firepower screen, I could not see the contents of the usb drive, and the download image command did not work. After I was able to see the contents of my flash drive, I went back and ran the download image usbA:/cisco-asa-fp1k.9.14.2.15.SPA. it worked. see below.

the download finishes and i can open the iso mount it to deamon tools and install it but some nki archives are corrupt.. all other exoansions and downloads are fine... reaktor, massive, all session strings/ basses drummers etc pp


Hey @F-André It looks like adamaged download, try to download the zipped Kontakt Factory Library folder, unzip it, put it where it should be on your system and use the LOCATE function in Native Access.


If you choose not to install Armoury Crate on first boot-up of your new PC, you can still get Armoury Crate by manually downloading the Armoury Crate & Aura Creator Installer from the ASUS support site for your model.

Is there a proxy in your environment? Can you go to in the browser? If so, is the browser using a proxy in connection settings? If you are familiar with looking at packet captures, you can run wireshark when trying to run the download software product list task and look at where the certificate is failing. Otherwise you can check with your network team to look at firewall/proxy logs. If you can't find cause, we can look at a wireshark capture for you - you would need to open a ticket.


The source sites in epo for updates have nothing to do with the software product list. Source updates go to update.nai.com, where the product list is through epo.mcafee.com. I am sure there is more than one site at epo.mcafee.com, so it is possible for one to use a different ip for it. I would be interested in seeing the wireshark for the failed server. If you have an SR open, please send me that case number in private message.


My end goal is to populate the Software Manager. Right now, it shows "The product catalog has not been downloaded yet." This led me to this KB74029, which did not fix the issue. My understanding was that I needed to be able to successfully run the task "Download Software Product List" for the Software Manager to populate.


That is a setting in the database and would only need changed if your download software product list is not going to epo.mcafee.com. There are other reasons for the failure, so you would first look at the epoapsvr.log to see what the exact failure is.


I've tried everything above and it has resolved some issues that I didn't even realize that I had. However, I'm still getting this annoying line, (I know it's variations on a theme at this point):"Error: Failed to download metadata for repo 'satellite-tools-6.7-for-rhel-8-x86_64-e4s-source-rpms'"It's frustrating, but I'm still believing in the community. I fixed the issue. I had to de-register my development machine with the subscription manager, then re-register, then subscribe the machine again and set the release. I was then able to download packages again using yum without any of the previous issues. So: subscription-manager register --force (de-registers and re-registers in one command) subscription-manager subscribe (I then subscribed and got the following back... Installed Product Current Status: Product Name: Red Hat Enterprise Linux for x86_64 Status: Subscribed Then set my release (run the following to check what releases are available and match with yours) subscription-manager release --list (in my case 8.1 is my system look at /etc/redhat-release for version) subscription-manager release --set=8.1 (set my version) Then as a test installed GCC and all was good.Hope this helps someone ;-)
